Just white varnishes can be extra sensitive to different dyes found in different foods, soft drinks, red wine and coffee. Make sure to try to remove the stains as soon as possible and moisturize with properly twisted cleaning cloth and detergent solution. Use a dust cloth to get the surface dry again.
